i am becoming quite skilled at scaling the two flights of stairs which lead to my office in less than six steps (a 90 degree turn is involved, even so). this is of course a considerable challenge if the absurd crop-length of my legs is taken into account.
even more [self] impressive is the declension: if i am able to locate the proper hand placement on the neighboring rails, i can often make it down said two flights with only one transaction between foot and floor.
